AET partnered with the Museum of Science & Industry in Chicago, IL for their "Science Storm" exhibit.

Tesla Coil

This exhibit is based on a commercially available Tesla Coil that periodically discharges to a pair of rings. The Tesla Coil is mounted inverted near the ceiling of the exhibit space and the vertical axis of the ground rings is coincident with the axis of the Tesla Coil.  The Tesla Coil can be configured to discharge automatically throughout the day, or linked to timed, facilitated demonstrations. The target demographic for this exhibit is middle school students.

Fire & Water

This exhibit is based on Underwriters Laboratory sprinkler system test and demonstrates of a variety of interactions between fire and water. The Exhibit is a large, thermally insulated glass enclosure to allow the visitors to see the interaction between the flame and sprinkler devices located on the interior of the enclosure.  The Exhibit will permit the visitors to vary the performance of the flame and sprinkler devices and monitor the results. The target demographic for this exhibit is middle school students.
